KIRK WHITEMAN

Kirk has been racing for over 30 years, nationally and internationally and coaching cyclist and triathletes for nearly two decades. In 2000, Kirk rode as the captain of a blind tandem duo at the Paralympic Games in Sydney. Kirk is a multiple time World and National Champion sprinter on the track. And for the past 18 years, Kirk has coached his athletes to their own multiple World and National championship victories. Kirk is a tireless innovator, constantly researching and studying training techniques to provide quality results for his clients.   

Kirk makes his high-intensity, interval-based training classes a mind bending achievement for those on a quest for greater fitness and performance. Kirk understands what it takes to be a champion and pulls it out of YOU! 

  

JENNY WHITEMAN

Jenny grew up participating in gymnastics, diving, soccer and dance. After graduating from the UO, she moved from Portland to New York City to continue her study of the dances of the African diaspora. Along with African, Caribbean and Dunham technique dance classes, Jenny pursued her interest in movement with Vinyasa Yoga, gyrokinesis, Alexander Technique and Pilates classes. She fell in love with Pilates and became a certified instructor through Power Pilates in 1999. After teaching at gyms and studios throughout New York City, she and Kirk opened their own studio in Park Slope, Brooklyn in 2001.

Jenny has studied under master Pilates instructors Kathy Grant, Susan Moran-Perich, Phoebe Higgins, Peter Roel and Michael Miller. She has also done extensive training and certifications in anatomy, Thai Yoga Massage, pre and postnatal Pilates and CycleOps Power. Jenny is constantly seeking continuing education opportunities and is excited to share her knowledge and experience with her clients.

 

KELLY RAYLINSKY

Kelly Raylinsky has been teaching cycle classes since 2006. She fell in love with these classes because of the individualized endurance, endorphin boost and sweat it provides. She has used these classes personally to help strengthen her biking, running and overall fitness.Her classes are described as ‘Cerebral’. They invite you to go deep - to discover your personal limits and to optimize that 90% of your effort which is mental. No matter how strong the body is your mind has to be ‘in it’ to move.

She believes that exercise is one of the most important, inexpensive and nourishing things you can do for your mind and body. She is a doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and brings her understanding of physiology and whole body health to life with this practice. Come enjoy a cadence based, mind and body workout!
